2010年、Conbat Guitare に制作を委託した 52″Vintage Telecaster です。制作の構想は、我々がオリジナルのTele 52″ を体験したことに始まります。オリジナルの持つ無骨で太い、ナチュラルでウッディな枯れた音色や、その使い込まれた手に吸い付くような弾き心地、各部味わい深い塗装と渋い風合い。そして一番惹かれたのは、その羽根のように軽い抱き心地でした。現代市販されてるテレキャスターの、鉛のような重さのボディからオリジナルのビンテージトーンは絶対に再現できないと考えました。本物のビンテージテレは羽根のように軽いのです。サウンド・色木目も含め、目指すはThe Rolling Stones Keith Richards’ のVintage Telecasterです。

各部品は仕様書のとおり良質の部品を使い、ピックガードはベイク・ブラック。ナット材は牛骨オイル使用、当時と同じマイナスネジ。PUはフェンダー純正からビンテージ、各社慎重に比較検討、ヒアリングを繰り返した結果 LINDY FRALIN BROADCASTER を採用。この仕様で、総重量 2.9kgの52″Vintage Telecaster が完成いたしました。イメージの為テスト用のヘッドデカールは水貼りで、ラッカーは吹いていませんので好みで剥がして頂けます。各部傷すれ当ございますが、機能に問題はなくお使いいただけます。ここまでこだわり抜いた 52″Vintage Telecaster はそうそうお目にかかれないと思います。その後、この仕様で量産していこうという企画でしたが、結局材の入手も含め、すごい制作コストがかかり、販売には至らず、このプロトタイプ一本だけで、このプロジェクトは幕を閉じました。
